Erion Packaging bases its collection network on the service of private operators including the over1,500 physical outlets of the member companies of AIRES, the Italian Association of Specialized Appliance Retailers, which since 2005 brings together the main retailing chains and distribution groups active in the sale of Electrical and Electronic Equipment in Italy.
Erion is an associate of the Permanent Observatory for the Protection of the Electronic Market in Italy (Optime), which has as its main purpose the pursuit and protection of fair competition between companies operating in the field of consumer electronics in Italy, and the compliance with the mandatory rules governing consumer protection.
Erion is a member of the Foundation for Sustainable Development, one of the most authoritative points of reference for the study and growth of the green economy in Italy. Established in September 2008, the Foundation’s main objective is to spread and grow the culture and practice of sustainable development through the dissemination of studies and research, the organization of information and discussion meetings, and the involvement of institutions and stakeholders on strategic issues of the green economy. Currently over 120 companies and 40 experts form part of the Foundation.
Erion is one of the thirty members of WEEE Europe, a joint venture among the main European collective systems for the management of WEEE, Waste Batteries and Accumulators and Packaging, founded in Munich in 2013 to provide all management and regulatory compliance services to producers, importers, wholesalers, retailers and distributors of EEE,Batteries and Accumulators and Packaging who simultaneously operate in more than one European country.
